Is there a minimum number of sets required to sell Lego on Amazon? I was a little confused when trying to get approval to sell.

When you are applying, yes. You need 10 of the same item. After approved there is no minimum when it comes to actually selling.

Great! Thank you for your response!

Does retire in 2023 mean LEGO will produce the set until December 2023?

What deals do you expect in the summer? Some are <20% MSRP right now but that's not good enough? Thanks!

1. Yes

2. Impossible to predict, it's just common to see as high as 40% off MSRP on some sets.

Thanks for your instant response!

Some sets are already way below the target price. The 71774 is EUR 109,-. Stock up now? Only downside is that you have to store it longer before it retires or am I missing something?

I prefer to wait until closer to retirement. No reason to deploy capital now when we can in 6 months and possibly get it even cheaper.

Thanks. I might be too eager to dip a toe in. Just started today.

You have tons of time to work with! Just keep doing research and building your hit list. Then, you'll be prepared when the opportunities come.

How soon will you start purchasing?

Jarek Lewis's avatar

I'd start tomorrow if there was a good enough deal, but more likely in the Summer is when that'll start to happen.

Where/ when do you find the lower prices ?

Very random. Mostly during store sales via Walmart/Target and amazon price matches.
