The Best LEGO Sets for Investing that Are Still Available in Late December 2024

Some great sets are still available for those who missed out.

As we near the end of 2024, a lot of opportunities have come and gone to get great LEGO investments at the best price.

However, there are a few gems out there still that I would be taking advantage of if I didn’t already have my fill:

   Now that I have seen another year of holiday data, this should have been a hit list set.
   
   It is unique in that people don’t really want it during the first 6-8 months of the year and then EVERYONE wants it.
   
   This isn’t a typical holiday set either, it has demand that is off-the-charts good.
   
   I have a very large position in this set.
   
   Make sure to use Rakuten if ordering from Walmart for 4% cash back.
   

2. Speed Champions Ferrari 812 Competizione 76914 - $15.99 (20% OFF) - Click HERE to buy from Amazon | Click HERE to buy from Target (this is a hit list set)
   
   While this isn’t the lowest price we saw this year ($14) this is still a great cost basis.
   

3. Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG 76909 - $22.39 (34% OFF) - Click HERE to buy from Amazon | Click HERE to buy from Target (this is a hit list set)
   
   Great buy in price.

I do not expect out of this world gains from any of these (okay maybe the Flower Centerpiece) due to how much supply is clearly out there but these will be solid investments regardless.

The restocks of these are few and far between. I’ve gotten some here and there of a few on this list but they go out of stock before I can send an alert out.

To get max quantity possible of each set above from Amazon, here is what you need:

1. 1 regular Amazon.com account

2. 1 business account

These limits used to reset weekly, I am unsure if that still holds true this year.

Every few days, attempt to buy more and see if they let you.

To abide by Amazon ToS, ensure both accounts do not have an active Prime subscription.

To get max quantity of each set above from Target:

Do not place more than 9 identical orders.

Put differently, make sure the total $ amount and same quantity of each set per order is not repeated more than 9 times.

Place your orders slowly, do not give them any indication you could be a bot or they will ban you at least temporarily.
