LEGO INVESTING BUY ALERT: 1 Hit List Set from Amazon + Some Important Thoughts
Here is another deal I like at a great price.
Yesterday’s Target sale was amazing but several sets sold out pretty quickly.
One set not included on that sale is 30% OFF today.
It is on the 2025 hit list.
Here is the LEGO set I am investing in today:
Minecraft The Nether Portal Ambush 21255 - $26.59 (30% OFF) - Click HERE to buy from Amazon - Max Quantity: 20
I think this is a good opportunity to explain something in particular about this deal today.
Subscribers are often worried when they see a set like this available with a maximum quantity of 20 because it implies there is a lot of supply out there.
This is not unfounded and it is technically true.
Outside of Amazon messing up and allowing them to sell out quickly on accident there is no other reason for allowing people to buy that many.
There are likely a lot of these out there.
With that in mind, subscribers should keep in mind a few things when it comes to my buy alerts:
When I buy sets I am trying to buy hundreds of them
My issue is not capital, it is finding enough LEGO to buy
As such, I don’t necessarily have the luxury of skipping opportunities.
If a set I like is 30% OFF, I need to buy it if I have any hope of hitting my projected allocation size.
Even if I think the set has a chance to go 40% OFF later on I still have to buy.
If it doesn’t, I’ll never get enough of them.
If I was investing with a much smaller pool of capital, I would probably pick and choose a bit more.
In this case, I’d still be buying because Minecraft is one of the hottest themes out there right now.
I hope this helps people understand my thought process a little bit more.
Enjoy!
For maximum quantity from Amazon:
Place an order of max quantity on both a personal account and a business account
For maximum quantity from Target:
So far, I have had success with changing up the quantity on every order. Essentially, do not place the same exact order twice.
For maximum quantity from Walmart:
Just place your orders, they don’t really care (the only thing at risk is your Walmart+ subscription)
