Those of you who have looked at my LEGO hit list (check it out here) this year know that I had no intention on adding any sets from the City theme.
However, a deal has presented itself that is too good to ignore.
After I share that with you, we are going to discuss a couple sets going on sale for Black Friday.

Once again, Amazon is limiting orders to a quantity of 3 per account.
However, this is a set that gets you $10 off for every $50 spent.
I chose to add it to the portfolio because:
It’s a construction set (these always do well)
Demand exploded when this went on sale
Amazon looks to be running out of inventory (shipping 2 weeks from now)
It should end up at around ~1.5% of the overall portfolio.
If you want to minimize your spend on this set you should order a quantity of 2 per account for a total of $42 at checkout:
Once you have hit your limit on Amazon, I recommend jumping over to Target, who has a similar deal going on right now for the Crane Truck.
For every $50 spent on specific sets (including this one), they’ll send you a $10 gift card.

I have been using these sales to increase my quantity of both of these sets as well as add more of this new City set.
AMAZON ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS :
Order the max or desired quantity on as many accounts as they will allow (usually ~3)
Quantity limits almost always reset after 1 week post purchase
Avoid buying with accounts that have a Prime subscription, doing so is “technically” against ToS if you intend on selling your LEGO on Amazon
TARGET ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
Never place more than 9 orders with the same item combination or total dollar value
Space orders out by a few minutes each
Mix and match items or item quantity to place a new 9 orders
