Does your ROI from LEGO portfolio include fees from prep center as well?

Yes. All fees are included.

What happens with the lego sets that arrive either very crushed or in extremely damaged boxes, how's that handled by prep centers? I don't mean return wise, I mean fresh from the retailers since, as we all have seen, not every set they send out arrives 100% pristine unfortunately

Return or exchange them.

I mean like the logistics of it, like first off they have to be told to look out for those types of issues, then if they find a lego box that's not great, I'm assuming they have to tell you about it, then you have to be the one to setup/coordinate a return for them to send back to retailer etc.

I'm just trying to get my head around the logistics of how adding a 3rd party to the mix would complicate stuff like that, but clearly there are solutions though since you and many others are able to operate just fine via prep centers and what not

Most centers will contact you after a shipment and say some came damaged and ask what you'd like to do about it.

Ah, understood, thank you! That's the clarity I was looking for

What do you think about the new released 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama?

Heard it's gonna be around for 3 months only and a lego exclusive. So supply should be quite low on this one

Solid buy. I don’t like holiday sets but this one has potential.

Nice, thanks. I think I'll pick a few up.

Not investing but flipping question. What do you think about buying up lego exclusive holiday sets that just got released (ie Nutcracker 40640, 40642 Gingerbread Ornaments) for a quick flip on amazon?

Risky. A lot of other people do it. Price usually crashes hard.
